How to install▾
1. Download the APK
Tap "Download APK" on the app you want. Your phone's browser will save the file, usually to a Downloads folder.
2. Allow installs from unknown sources
Because these apps aren't distributed through the Play Store, Android will ask for permission the first time:
- Open the downloaded file from your notification shade or Downloads app.
- If prompted, tap Settings and enable Allow from this source for your browser or file manager.
- Go back and tap the file again to continue installing.
3. Complete installation
Tap Install, wait a few seconds, then tap Open or find the app on your home screen.
4. Troubleshooting
- "App not installed" error — usually means a previous version conflicts. Uninstall the old version first, then try again.
- Play Protect warning — expected for apps outside the Play Store. Review the warning, then choose to install anyway if you trust the source.
- Download looks corrupted or won't open — delete the file and download it again from this page.
- Not enough storage — free up space equal to roughly twice the app's listed size, since installation briefly needs room for both the APK and the installed app.
